PA Path is a tool that helps people applying to physician assistant programs track their GPA, their experience hours and the programs they are interested in. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it.

If you upload a transcript, we do not store the file. It is held in memory for the length of a single request, sent to our AI provider to read the course list, and then discarded. It is never written to our database and never saved to disk.
Only the individual course rows that you review and confirm are saved to your account. We keep a record that an upload happened, how many courses were found and whether it succeeded, so we can spot failures. That record contains no transcript content.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. What we keep is a Stripe customer reference, which plan you are on, its status and renewal date, so we know what you have access to. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment details you give them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the product:

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

We do not send your name, email or payment details to the AI provider, and your data is not used to train their models.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to request a copy or its deletion. Email us and we will handle it.
We keep your information while your account exists. If you delete your account we remove it from our systems, though it may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before those expire. Billing records are retained where we are required to keep them.
PA Path is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 18, please use PA Path with a parent or guardian's knowledge. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Your data is stored with access controls that restrict each account to its own records, and connections are encrypted in transit. No service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously, and if something ever affected your data we would tell you.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you in the app or by email.
