These terms cover your use of PA Path at mypapath.com. By creating an account you agree to them. PA Path is operated by Ciana Massaria. You can reach us at ciana@mypapath.com.
PA Path is an organizational tool for people applying to physician assistant programs. It calculates your GPA the way CASPA calculates it, tracks your experience hours in a CASPA-friendly format, and collects published information about accredited PA programs so you can compare them.
PA Path does not give admissions advice, academic advice, career advice or legal advice, and using it does not create any advisory relationship. Nothing here is a prediction or a promise about whether you will be admitted anywhere.
We are not affiliated with CASPA, PAEA, ARC-PA, the NCCPA, or any PA program. Program names are used only to identify the programs being described.
Information about PA programs is gathered from those programs' own published materials and from public accreditation sources, and we re-check it regularly. Even so:
Always confirm requirements and deadlines directly with the program before you rely on them. PA Path is a starting point for your research, not a substitute for it. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information that turns out to be inaccurate or outdated, including a missed deadline or an unmet prerequisite.
GPA calculations are based entirely on the coursework you enter. We follow CASPA's published grade scale and subject rules, but CASPA's verifiers make their own judgements, particularly about which courses count as science. Your official CASPA GPA is whatever CASPA calculates, not what PA Path shows. Check your figures against your verified application.
You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your own copies of anything important.
Referral rewards are earned when someone you refer starts a paid subscription that is successfully billed. We may withhold or reverse a reward if a payment is refunded or reversed, or where we reasonably believe the referral system is being manipulated, including self-referrals and duplicate accounts.
Do not scrape, bulk-download or resell our program data; attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service; upload anything unlawful or anything that is not yours to upload; or use PA Path to build a competing product. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
PA Path, its design, its written guidance and its compiled program database belong to us. Your personal content, meaning your coursework, hours, notes and essay drafts, belongs to you. By using the service you allow us to store and process that content for the purpose of running it for you.
Some features use AI: reading an uploaded transcript, suggesting a category for an experience you describe, and checking program requirements against published sources. AI output can be wrong. Nothing an AI feature produces is saved to your account without you reviewing and confirming it, and you should check anything that matters.
We do our best to keep PA Path running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features can change or be discontinued. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will give you notice and a fair refund of any unused prepaid time.
PA Path is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines, rejected applications, lost opportunities or wasted application fees. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
You can stop using PA Path and delete your account at any time from your profile menu. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account without cause while you have prepaid time remaining, we will refund the unused portion.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PA Path after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
